Both the OTA update and Factory images are available for Nexus devices. Flashing a factory images is not a user-friendly method to updated to Android 4.4.3. You’ll need to wipe your devices, unlock its bootloader, setup adb & fastboot, and install adb drivers  for your device. If you’re not comfortable with all this, OTA android 4.4.3 update is the way to go for you.
